I've been thinking about the Lost Clans.
Allow me to present some suggestions :
Violet Elves, a nocturnal fok who inhabits hard-to-reach marshlands and swampy settlements.
They live on stilt-houses / palafittes and damp caves, on a tribal fashion.Â
Gray-skinned and silver haired ( similar to the drow/dark elf/night elf concept ) , their violet eyes see the soulds of the departed, so they often get glimpses of ghosts, and are also governed by the eldest shaman alive, who's advised by their ancessors spiritual wisdom. Whereas Rose Elves can see the future, Â so can Violet Elves the past.
They're very shy of outsiders and good at hiding, like most Lost Clans ought to be. Violet Elves are reclusive to the point of either not been seen at all, or making sure whoever spotted them never returns home to tell the tale. A fair share of their kind got corrupted by the Mirror in the past, and their numbers have dwindled, as well as becoming subject of myth and prejudice.
Common combat usually resorts to dagger-wielding espionage and staffs for shadowmancy.
Sun Elves ( I lack a better name. Or Ebony Elves, too )
Elven folk who inhabit the desert dunes of  Ibrim, shrouded in magical mirages and sandstorms who cloak their city protecting their presence from outsiders. They settle around fertile lands where oasis flourish, with  an age-old architecture bearing resemblance to persian-arabic buildings  and very well preserved ancient ruins. These elves much less hostile than the violet kind, but just as elusive, since there's  constant need of avoiding the menace of Ibrish expansion and the sultan's hunger.  Therefore, they have developed the gift of mirage-making and psammokinesis/abacomancy(sand control and divination) to conceal themselves, prefering peace over strife.Â
Black skinned and with their hair styled usually in braids and cornrows ( not sure about colour ), their golden eyes see the present faraway from physical percepction, getting glimpses of a place or person that pertains to them, usually at random. More skilled clarvoyants are able to focus their mind-sight at choice instead of chance, though. It is uncertain wheter it's their sight or illusionist skills are the root of it, but Sun Elves are very sharp when it comes to deceit and disguise, making it very hard to fool them ; they can easily tell if something's being faked, or if they are being lied to.
When push comes to shove and there's no manuveur out of harm's way, they usually resort to tricking the target with mirages and using sand as abundant resource, so as to make the terrain do their dirty work. Elves who do not master magic usually prefere either holstering hexaguns - due to a cultural interest in archeology in unearthing old relics of tech long lost - if they ever have need of a weapon.
Tundra Elves -  With freckled skin and fiery hair, these elves from the far north settle in igloos and geothermically-heated shelters, or close to mountain ranges that few dare risk climb. Neighboring Trelis, their bulkier builds are much more rugged than the other clans, being able to last the everwinter weather, and other hazards besides the blizzards, such as arctic jackals and Icefang Barghest - the later with which they have already made peace over land disputes in long past, and now share mutual respect.  Their vivid blue eyes see glimpes of frozen time, allowing for some more seconds to decide on the best course of action and how to pummel their foes down. Regardless of it's random nature, the phenomena has been known to happen more oftenly once their heartbeat rises ; perhaps it has been conditioned so, as natural and biological unconcious trigger. It can be set theirs is the sight of survival.
Dressing in fur and leather, their physique allows them to wield hammers and warbows, with little love of magic or the like.
Coral Elves are regarded as a sea-farer's mythos, and altough many claim to have met one, few can be actually sure. Living the farthest from all other clans, their ability to live in saltwater, populating scattered islands across the ocean and seas, makes them the hardest to reach. With light blue skin and aquatic appeareance, but brightly coloured hairdos resembling underwater flora, their pink eyes have an allarming allure to them, usually causing sailors to mistake them for merfolk or monsters and nickname them 'sirens'. With their hypnotic glance, it is said these sea elves can lock their victims in a trance, and make them spill secrets or make terrible things with no memory of it afterwards - as if time had not passed, and they were no more and mere daydreaming.  Tricky and whimsical, these elves roam the waters wide and free, but also settle in desert islands,  making  their homes out of beachwood and palm leaves, which does not mean these seaside settlements are humble or primitive. They were once said to be the most cruel clan to humans and other races, but actually, they actually help some of the drowning in need and carry them ashore.
Dressing in seaweed and light fluid clothing, they are unmatched underwater, but when fighting on the surface, they wield lances/tridents and swords, mirroring fisherpeople and pirates.
I tried making each one based on an attribute and a different kind of vegetation/flower, as well as giving them eye gifts.
- ) Violet Elves are closer to the classical drow concept, but Sun Elves could be a very positive representation against the usual elf aesthestical paradigm. Â Tundra elves were a more norse and meele take on the usual elven elements of grace and nimbleness. Coral Elves where a sort of sea elves that don't go that deep ( haha ) on the field of mermaids and sahagins.
Hope you enjoyed. : ) Maybe if you all like it, they'll consider something like this.
Been thinking of Trelis, too , as well as beastfolk for Ibris and maybe some dwarves and fairies...
