Sage

The Sage of the Collegium is a master of magic and time, combining the two to reverse time and allow allies to use their skill sooner.

Skills:

  • Haste(Battle Skill): Refreshes an ally's skill CD and gives them +[0/2/3/4/5] movement range for 1 turn. {Rank R}
    • Skill Range: 3-Tiles
    • Cool-down: 2 Turns
  • Time Warp(Limit Break): Refreshes CD of all allies and gives them +[1/2/3/4/5] movement range for 1 turn. {Rank N}
  • Passives:
    • Resistance: Increase in-battle magic by +[10/20/30/40/50] (Flat amount). {Rank R}
    • Wisdom: This hero gains [10/15/20/25/30]% bonus EXP. {Rank N}
    • Magic Aura: Allies within 2 tiles gain +[5/10/15/20/25]% bonus magic. {Rank E}
    • Conjurer Aura: Enemies within 2 tiles are [4/8/12/16/20]% weaker against magic. {Rank C}
    • Negotiation: Attacks silence the target for one turn. (Target cannot use skill for 1 turn) {Rank L}

Tips:

  • Since the sage is more of a support unit, his usefulness isn't dependent on his level.
  • The 'Haste' skill isn't usable on himself.
  • It is advised not to promote him higher than elite since it takes a lot of time for revival.
  • Very vulnerable to ranged fire.

Tactics:

The Sage's 'Haste' skill when coupled with the Dancer's 'Dance' makes a pretty fun tactic. You can refresh movement AND skill of a hero on every turn. That can mean double steal, or double heal. You can even 'Protect' 2 units with a single Guard simultaneously.

Please note however that the unfortunate trade-off of having these two in your squad is that you have two non-combatants that will require looking after.
